Hello, Internet.

Hi.

So. This is the first entry of my blog. After wrestling with a glitchy website and a fragile internet connection, I now find myself unsure about exactly what I want to say!

My name is Aby, I'm twenty-two and I live in Suffolk. I love musical theatre, poetry and cats. Lots of cats, all the cats, you can never have too many cats.

Mainly, though, I love writing. I'd describe myself as your classic wannabe-writer: my bookshelves are crammed, I'm a recent English graduate, and I write stories and poems in my spare time. Hence this blog. I want to create somewhere where I can keep all of the random stuff I come up with safe, whether they're longer pieces of writing I put a lot of time and effort into, or short, silly stories I came up with on the bus and wrote on my phone. 

I like to think that this could become a place on the internet people come to on their lunchbreak, to read something entertaining for ten minutes while they're eating their egg sandwiches. I'm sure that sounds weird.
